AEW presented a special Tuesday night edition of their flagship show Dynamite on September 8, 2024 from Spokane Arena in Spokane, Washington. The episode dubbed ‘Title Tuesday’ had multiple matches with championship implications. Here are the full results of the show:
- Darby Allin And Brody King Promo: Darby Allin mentions King attacking him on Collision this past Saturday. He says Brody could have just talked to him if he wanted to accept Allin’s open challenge for WrestleDream. Darby reminds King that he got him the job at AEW when ROH shut down. King in response says that he remembers everything but unlike Allin, he doesn’t take anything for granted. The two begin brawling. Darby hits Brody with a rock before the security comes out and pulls them apart.
- Backstage Segment: Renee Paquette hosts Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Lance Archer, and Don Callis in a segment. Callis revealed that Roberts will be joining the Callis family.
- Singles Match – Hologram def. Komander: After a high-flying match, Hologram wins with an Airplane Spin. Jake Roberts appears on the ramp after the match as Rush, The Beast Mortos, and Dralistico attack both Komander and Hologram. They hold hands together to reveal the new alliance with Roberts.
- Daniel Garcia Promo: Garcia says it’s great to be back in the ring and in front of fans. He mentions his recent absence and says he got a lot of time to think about what’s best for him. He reveals that he has decided to re-sign with AEW and then puts all the champions in the back on notice.
- #1 Contenders Match for AEW Women’s Championship – Willow Nightingale def. Saraya (w/ Harley Cameron), Jamie Hayter and Nyla Rose: Towards the end, Hayter grabs a chair from Saraya and clocks her with it. Saraya runs out and Hayter follows her outside but Cameron gets involved. Hayter sends Cameron through the barricade before Penelope Ford makes a surprise return and attacks her with a chair. Jamie Hayter chases after Ford and they both disappear out of the arena. Nightingale takes advance and she pins both Saraya and Cameron after a Death Valley Driver. As she’s making her way back, Mariah May appears and hits Willow with the AEW women’s title belt at the entrance ramp. May beats her up with multiple shots with the title belt across her spine before holding the championship up.
- Singles Match – Jay White (w/ Juice Robinson) def. Cody Chhun: Jay picks up a quick win with Blade Runner in his return match. After the bout, he picks up the mic and challenges Adam Page for a match at WrestleDream.
- Backstage Segment: HOOK demands to know who attacked Taz from Kip Sabian. He lets Sabian go when he says he doesn’t know anything. The Patriarchy approaches HOOK and asks if he’s seen Sabian. HOOK says he hasn’t and Christian Cage tells him that he sympathizes with HOOK for what happened with his father. In another segment, Willow Nightingale attacks Mariah May backstage.
- TBS and NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship Match – Mercedes Mone def. Emi Sakura: Mone grabs the ring skirt when Sakura tries to get her back into the ring after a spot. As the referee goes to fix it, Kamille trips Sakura and Mone is able to lock up Statement Maker for the win. They both attack Sakura after the bout until Kris Statlander makes the save.
- Will Ospreay and Don Callis Promo: Ospreay calls out Callis to explain Konosuke Takeshita attacking him last week. Callis first deflects but later admits that he sent Takeshita after Ospreay to teach him a lesson. Ospreay says he can’t believe he ever had any respect for Callis and Don Callis slaps him in return. Ospreay tosses Callis across the ring but Takeshita sneaks up on him. They both brawl until Kyle Fletcher comes up and pulls Will away. Takeshita takes the opportunity to attack Ospreay and a conflicted Fletcher heads to the back. Don Callis and Takeshita start attacking Ospreay until Ricochet makes the save. Ricochet hands the AEW International title to Ospreay to end the segment.
- Tag Team Match – Bryan Danielson and Wheeler Yuta def. PAC and Claudio Castagnoli: Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir appear at the ringside to distract Bryan. Claudio Castagnoli tries to take advantage but Bryan comes back. He locks the LeBell Lock on PAC for the win. Bryan starts brawling with Moxley after the match and they head to the backstage area. Back in the ring, Shafir, Pac, and Claudio beat down Wheeler Yuta until Bryan and Mox return. Bryan gets the upper hand in the end as Moxley and others retreat. The AEW Champion leads the crowd into a Yes chant as the show goes off air.
