WWE presented the October 11, 2024 episode of SmackDown from Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina. The show follows up on top angles from the Bad Blood PPV last Saturday, including the return of Jimmy Uso and The Rock. Here are the full results of the episode:
- Jimmy Uso Promo: Jimmy says he’s been out with an injury after the attack from Solo Sikoa. Roman Reigns comes out and tells everyone to join him in acknowledging Jimmy. Roman talks about the time when he ran Bloodline and they had power and money. Reigns says he and Jimmy are the GOATs and the ones. Uso doesn’t agree with Roman, he says he stands in front of a Tribal Chief without a tribe. He says they need help taking down The Bloodline and says he knows one person who they can call. Roman tells him not to call Jey Uso. Jimmy leaves the ring after telling Roman that he’s the only one who acknowledges him nowadays.
- United States Championship Match – LA Knight (c) def. Carmelo Hayes: Andrade is watching the match from the ringside. Towards the end, Melo goes to the top and attempts a Nothing But Net. Knight counters it with a BFT for the win.
- Backstage Segment: Cody Rhodes runs into Jimmy Uso and thanks him for helping at Bad Blood. He brings up Jimmy wanting a match against Solo and Uso tells him it’s family business.
- Kevin Owens Promo: Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson are making their entrance when Owens runs past them. He grabs a mic and says he was told not to come to SmackDown after attacking Cody Rhodes. He says Cody turned on him first but the mic gets cut off. He grabs Michael Cole’s commentary set and continues talking until Rhodes runs down. The security comes out to stop the two from brawling. Randy Orton appears and tries to stop Kevin. Owens hits him with an elbow accidentally and Orton responds with a punch to KO’s face. The segment ends with KO sitting in the ring in disbelief.
- WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match – Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair (c) def. Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson: The champions retain with a Codebreaker-assisted German suplex combination on Jackson.
- Backstage Segment: Randy Orton tells Cody to leave Nashville after what happened with KO. Nick Aldis is present and Orton says he’ll deal with Owens. Rhodes agrees to leave the building.
- Nia Jax Promo: Nia comes out with Tiffany Stratton. She talks about defeating Bayley at Bad Blood. She then talks about her Crown Jewel opponent Liv Morgan and orders Stratton to cash in her Money In The Bank contract on the Raw champion. Naomi comes out and reminds Jax that she and Bayley beat Nia and Tiffany. Nia challenges Naomi to a singles match which she accepts. Liv Morgan’s music hits and she comes out with Raquel Rodriguez and Dominik Mysterio to watch the match.
- Singles Match – Naomi def. Nia Jax: Jax distracts the referee to allow Stratton to hit Naomi with her Money In The Bank briefcase. Rodriguez stops her from doing so and takes the briefcase away. Rodriguez then distracts the referee as Morgan takes the briefcase and hits Nia with it. Naomi connects with a powerbomb for the win. Rhea Ripley comes out after the match and attacks Rodriguez. She tackles Nia in the ring on her way to Liv but Rodriguez pulls Liv out of the ring at the right time.
- Video Package: A vignette teasing the WWE debut of Motor City Machine Guns for next week airs.
- Backstage Segment: Nick Aldis is trying to stop an argument between Street Profits and DIY after their triple threat match last week. Aldis becomes distracted with something. He runs down as cameras follow and reveal Owens attacking Orton. Aldis asks security to contain Owens as KO goes off about Randy picking sides.
- Singles Match – Solo Sikoa def. Jimmy Uso: Jimmy shows initiative but the numbers game proves too much. Sikoa pins him with a Samoan Spike in the end after a distraction from Bloodline members. Roman Reigns comes out to save his cousin from a post-match beatdown. Roman manages to take out Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tanga Loa and comes face to face with Solo. Fatu comes back and clocks him from behind however and the Bloodline gets the upper hand. The show ends with Solo and others standing tall.
