Bully Ray has arrived in Game Changer Wrestling.

GCW presented night 1 of the Fight Club special from The Showboat in Atlantic City, New Jersey this Saturday night on October 12.

The main event of the show was a WarGames match between the Deathmatch Royalty and Team GCW. Three members of both teams had been announced in advance with the 2 remaining participants being kept a mystery until the last minute.

During the event, Allie Katch was revealed as the last member of Team GCW, joining the trio of Effy, Joey Janela, and 1 Called Manders. The wrestling veteran Bully Ray came out as the final member of the Deathmatch Royalty, consisting of Broski Jimmy, Matt Cardona, and Mance Warner.

In the end, Katch turned on her teammates and hit Effy with an exploding barbed wire bat. This allowed Warner to take advantage and pin Effy to get the win for his team.

Bully Ray is a wrestling veteran who has competed for promotions such as ECW, WWE, and TNA in his long career. The 53-year-old is known for his extreme matches and his legendary tag team with D-Von.

Since his ROH run ended in 2020, Ray has been semi-retired from pro wrestling, competing in a limited number of matches every year. He is also a co-host of the Busted Open podcast.

It’s unknown if Ray will be making more appearances for the indie company following his debut for the promotion tonight. Considering his limited schedule, it’s more likely that this was a one-off deal.
