Kevin Owens is not sure if he’ll be coming back to WWE.
The former Universal Champion posted a video on Twitter earlier in the week saying that the company was not letting him speak. Owens said that he wanted to tell his side of the story after attacking Cody Rhodes and that he had sent a video to WWE which he wanted them to air on SmackDown this week.
The video saw Kevin discussing how WWE superstars get physical all the time and claiming that it was ridiculous for the officials to sit him home for something similar. What he is especially hurt by is the betrayal of his tag team partner Randy Orton, and he is not sure if he wants to come back to the promotion after this:
“I got to be honest with everybody, with everything that’s happening right now between the disrespect shown to me by WWE and Randy breaking my trust like that, I really don’t know if or when I can come back.”
Kevin Owens had an argument with Cody Rhodes after the Bad Blood PPV. The latter was returning to his bus after his match on the show. Owens who had been frustrated with Rhodes for teaming with Roman Reigns finally snapped and power-bombed the Undisputed WWE Champion in front of the crowd.
The former Champion then interrupted the October 11 SmackDown before a match where he claimed that the company was not letting him talk. Kevin accidentally hit Randy Orton when he came out to calm things down and The Viper responded with a punch to Owens.
Owens snapped on Orton as well after this, claiming that the Apex Predator had chosen Cody’s side over his. KO would end up attacking Orton in yet another backstage segment later in the night. He has not been seen on WWE programming since then.
