John Cena has said that his WWE journey is coming to an end.
The Cenation Leader is one of the most well-known wrestlers on the planet thanks to his long reign as the face of WWE from 2005 to 2015. The 16-time world champion however has winded down his activity inside the ring since then and adopted a part-time schedule that allows him to pursue other professions such as his growing Hollywood career.
Amid all this, Cena has not been shy to talk about the physical effects of wrestling on his body and how his days inside the squared circle are limited.
The 47-year-old once again discussed this topic during his new interview with People. The Peacemaker star said that his WWE journey is coming to an end:
“I know my WWE journey is coming to an end, but fitness was a part of my life long before the WWE journey started. Fitness will be a part of my life, hopefully as long as my heart’s beating. So the WWE has been a great chapter in my life — it’s year 23 for me and the sun’s setting on that chapter in the book, but fitness will never not be a part of my life.”
John Cena also talked about his physical health. He explained that his goal is to stay active for as long as he can:
“At 47 now, my goal is to be physically active until I can’t. I put a number in my head of like, I’d like to be physically active into my late 80s or 90s. To do a parallel squat in my late 80s.”

Though the latest interview is another reminder that fans should cherish Cena’s historic run before it comes to an abrupt end.
