WWE presented the August 19, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw from the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida. With hot angles such as the rivalry of the Judgement Day, CM Punk and Drew McIntyre’s intense hatred and more, the show gave us a lot to talk about. Here are the highlights and results from the show:

  • Randy Orton Promo: Randy says he will become a 15-time world champion at Bash In Berlin. Gunther comes out to confront him and tells Orton that he will never be able to deliver an RKO to him again. Ludwig Kaiser attacked Randy from behind. He fought back until Gunther also joined the assault. The segment ended with Randy lying on the mat with his opponents standing tall.
  • Singles Match: Sheamus vs. Pete Dunne: The physical bout saw both men delivering some great offence. In the end, Sheamus won the match with a Brogue Kick.
  • Singles Match: Maxxine Dupri vs. Ivy Nile: Both Alpha Academy and American Made were at the ringside. Ivy officially got welcomed into American Made before the bout started. The match couldn’t reach to its conclusion as the lights went out and the fireflies came out. Abby The Witch appeared in front of Nile but the American Made got between them. The team then got attacked by Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, and Joe Gacy. The segment ended with Uncle Howdy delivering Sister Abigail to Chad Gable.
  • CM Punk Promo: Punk came out with leather straps around his neck. He talked about fans gifting him bracelets during the Fanatics FanFest and claimed that he is ‘Taylor Swift for men.’ He then issues a challenge to Drew McIntyre for a strap match at Bash In Berlin. McIntyre comes out and accepts the bout.
  • Trios Match: New Day & Odyssey Jones vs. The Final Testament: In the backstage segment, Xavier Woods expresses concern that Jones is replacing Big E in New Day. Kofi Kingston says no one can replace E and he is just helping the young star. In the match Jones picked up the win for the team with a Journey’s End.
  • Singles Match: Bronson Reed vs. The Miz: The Miz asked the match to be a No Disqualification bout. Miz tried to use many objects to stop Reed but the Monster Athlete picked up the win with a Tsunami. He went for another Tsunami after the bell but Braun Strowman came out to confront him.
  • Backstage Segment: Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker announces a tournament to determine his next challenger.
  • Singles Match: Dirty Dominik Mysterio vs. Damien Priest: Carlito, JD McDonagh, and Finn Balor tried to attack Priest during his entrance but the former world champion took them out. Rhea Ripley then distracted Mysterio at the ringside while Damian attacked him. Rhea was setting Dom up for a slam on the announce desk when Liv Morgan attacked her with a chair. The Judgement Day all attacked Priest and held him up so he can see Morgan taking out Ripley. They all hit their finisher on Priest. The segment ends with the group standing tall over Priest and Ripley.
  • Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Damage CTRL (Kairi Sane & IYO SKY) vs. Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn vs. Pure Fusion Collective (Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark): Dawn and Fyre retained the title after Fyre pinned Baszler with a Swanton.
  • Singles Match: Ludwig Kaiser vs. Randy Orton: Randy gets the upper hand early on. Gunther shows up at ringside when Orton picks up Kaiser to drop him on the announce desk. The distraction allows Kaiser to get the upper hand for a while. The Viper gained the control in the end and dropped Kaiser on the announce desk not one but three times. He won the match with an RKO before getting attacked by Gunther. The two men continued brawling as the broadcast ended.
