All Elite Wrestling has officially announced their long-anticipated media rights renewal deal with WarnerBros Discovery

In an official press release earlier today on their website, the company confirmed that they have signed a multi-year agreement which will see WBD continue being the home of Wednesday Night Dynamite on TBS and Saturday Night Collision on TNT.

In addition to the TV Networks, the shows will be simulcasted on WBD’s Max streaming service for the first time ever starting in January 2025.

The highly anticipated PPV distribution deal was also announced. The release notes that the AEW special events will be distributed on Max at a discounted price for subscribers. Though the PPV distribution will begin later in 2025 with dates and details on the actual price of shows being revealed later.

One important exclusion from the announcement was the mention of Friday Night Rampage which currently airs on TNT. It’s believed that the show will be dropped as AEW ends its exclusivity with WBD and looks for a new TV partner for a third show.

AEW’s Partnership With WBD

AEW began its relationship with WBD in October 2019 when the first AEW weekly show Dynamite was launched on TNT. Dynamite remained on TNT until December 2021. It was then moved to TBS to prevent frequent preemptions caused by NFL programming.

AEW Rampage was added as the second show on WBD Networks in August 2021. The partnership was extended further with AEW Collision in June 2024.

No details have been provided on the financial side of things but it’s believed that the deal sees a significant increase in media rights fee for the wrestling company.
