AEW presented the September 11, 2024 episode of Dynamite from Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky. The show featured a big Tag Team Gauntlet match to determine the #1 contenders for the tag titles and more. Here are the full results from the show:
- The Patriarchy Promo: Christian Cage says Killswitch is a killer. He puts AEW World Champion on notice after winning a contract for a world title match against him. He says he’ll beat Bryan so bad that his wife Brie Bella will wish she was the one with CTE. Kip Sabian is shown leaving the crowd as Cage finishes his promo.
- TNT Championship Match – Jack Perry def. Lio Rush
- Pac Promo: Private Party, Komander, and Alex Abrahantes come down to the ring for a match. Marina Shafir, Claudio Castagnoli, and PAC blindside them and take them out. Mox and Pac enter the ring and Pac cuts a promo saying that AEW is a broken company.
- Singles Match – Ricochet def. Sammy Guevara: Ricochet wins with Vertigo. The Beast Mortos attacks Ricochet after the match. He retreats when Guevara enters the ring with a chair.
- Darby Allin and Jon Moxley Come Face To Face: Allin tells story about wrestling Mox for the first time and says he looked up to him. Darby says he doesn’t look up to Mox anymore after what he did to Danielson. Mox says Darby should give him the world title shot against Bryan and challenges him to a match for it. Allin accepts.
- AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator Match – Mariah May def. Queen Aminata: After the match, May announces that she will be holding her championship commemoration in Lexington, Kentucky. She asks Mina Shirakawa to come back to AEW.
- Tag Team Match – Chris Jericho, Bryan Keith, and Big Bill def. Iron Savages: Jericho cuts a promo on Orange Cassidy demanding $7000 for his jacket that Cassidy ruined. Cassidy appears and we see Mark Briscoe and Kyle O’Reilly backstage. They dump $7000 worth of change into Jericho’s expensive car.
- Nigel McGuinness Promo: McGuinness vents his frustration about Bryan before challenging him to a match at Dynamite: Grand Slam.
- Tag Team Casino Gauntlet Match – Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher def. FTR, The Righteous, The Undisputed Kingdom, The Acclaimed, MxM Collection, Top Flight, The Outrunners and Grizzled Young Veterans: Ospreay and Fletcher opened the match with FTR. The Outrunners got a huge pop from the crowd. Fletcher pinned Dante in the end to win the bout.
