AEW presented the latest episode of their weekly flagship show from Chartway Arena in Norfolk, Virginia. Tony Khan had announced earlier that they will be paying tribute to the legendary career of Bryan Danielson on the episode, ahead of his title vs career match at ALL IN. Here are the full results from the show:
- TBS Championship Match: Mercedes Mone vs. Hikaru Shida: Kamille was in the corner of Mone for this bout. Towards the end, Mone grabbed Shida’s Cando stick and when the referee was busy taking it back, Kamille landed a big boot on the challenger. Mercedes Mone then pinned Shida with a Mone Maker to retain the title. Britt Baker’s music hit after the bout and Kamile went to the ramp to confront her but Baker came from the crowd and took out Mone. When Kamille tried to attack her, Britt grabbed the kendo stick and sent both the heels retreating. Baker grabs the TBS title dropped by Mercedes Mone and holds it up to end the segment.
- Singles Match: Adam Page vs. Jay Lethal: Page attacked Lethal during a backstage interview and then brought him to the ring for the match to officially begin. The opening action took place outside of the ring and Hangman Page picked up the victory in the end with a Buckshot Lariat.
- Darby Allin Promo: Jack Perry attacks Allin before he could reach the ring and the two brawl leading each other to the backstage area. Perry had the upper hand for the most part. He dumped a garbage can on Darby and sent him crashing into a garage door before the officials were able to break the fight.
- Mina Shirakawa Promo: A Mariah May film premiers and then we head backstage where Renee Paquette interviews Shirakawa. The female star revealed that she has not spoken to May or Toni Storm since their break up and wished them best in luck for their upcoming ALL IN match.
- All In Casino Gauntlet Qualifier Match: Orange Cassidy vs. Kyle O’Reilly vs. Roderick Strong: Casidy won the bout after rolling up O’Reilly for the pin. Cassidy won the #1 spot for the Gauntlet match with this win.
- HOOK Promo: HOOK calls out Chris Jericho and demands a rematch for the FTW title. Jericho comes out and offers him the match at ALL IN in the condition that he faces Big Bill next week and upon losing the title match at the PPV, he will never challenge for the championship again.
- AEW World Tag Team Championship: The Young Bucks vs The Acclaimed: Towards the ending of the bout, Matthew Jackson and Max Caster knocked out the referee. Matthew then took advantage of the situation and low-blowed Caster. He picked up the title belt to end Caster but FTR comes down to stop the Bucks and the referee calls for a disqualification. Christopher Daniels then announces a match between FTR and Acclaimed for Collision with winner facing the Bucks for the title at Wembley.
- Singles Match: Swerve Strickland vs. Wheeler Yuta: Bryan Danielson is in the crowd watching the match. Strickland won the bout via referee stoppage when Yuta couldn’t defend himself anymore. Bryan then got into the ring but Strickland immediately bailed. Swerve cuts a promo on Bryan and it looks as if he’s gonna leave. The AEW World Champion however, blindsided Bryan and then mocks him with the yes chants to end the show.
