AEW Dynamite (9/18) Results: Ricochet In Action

The September 18, 2024 episode of Dynamite came live from Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The show featured another high-flying match of Ricochet and an intense Jon Moxley segment. Here are the complete results from the show:

  • Singles Match – Orange Cassidy def. Chris Jericho: Bryan Keith tries to distract the referee but Mark Briscoe levels him out. Jericho grabs looks to use a roll of coins to take out Cassidy but Orange Cassidy grabs it and delivers an Orange punch for the win.
  • Singles Match – HOOK def. JD Ink: Roderick Strong was on commentary. HOOK picked up a very quick win.
  • Tag Team Match – Yuka Sakazaki and Queen Aminata def. Mariah May and Serena Deeb via DQ: Sakazaki takes out her opponents with a dive outside. She gets Deeb back in the ring and tries to pin her. May breaks the fall by hitting her with the AEW Women’s title, causing the DQ. May continues beating Sakazaki after the match.
  • Jon Moxley segment: Mox makes his entrance with Claudio Castagnoli, and Marina Shafir. Private Party attack them but the former BCC trio gets the upper hand. Komander comes out later but gets the same treatment. Mox gets on mic to berated Private Party and hits Isiah Kassidy on hand with a hammer. Darby Allin comes out with a skateboard and attacks Mox. Moxley and other retreat as Darby warns them about their match next week.
  • Singles Match – Ricochet def. The Beast Mortos: Both the stars show their athletics in a high-flying match. Ricochet picks up the win with a Vertigo. Later Will Ospreay meets Ricochet backstage and Ricochet reveals that he will be challenging Orpreay for the international title at October 2 Dynamite.
  • Adam Page Interview: Tony Schiavone got the mic. He asks Page about his ultimate and Hangman says that anyone who got behind Swerve is his target, include Schiavone. He looks to attack Schiavone but Jeff Jarrett comes out. Page beats down Jarrett before Jay Lethal, Satnam Singh, Karen Jarrett and security come out to separate them.
  • 6 Men Tag Team Match: Will Ospreay, Kyle Fletcher, and Konosuke Takeshita def. The Elite: Ospreay and Fletcher used the Coriolis on Matthew for the win.
