Bryan Danielson has challenged Kazuchika Okada for a big match at the upcoming Dynamite 5-year anniversary show on October 2.
The AEW world champion has had a rough few weeks after being betrayed by Jon Moxley and other BCC teammates at All Out. Moxley had explained that he turned on Bryan because his idea of the AEW World title was not working anymore.
Danielson issued a response to his former partner in a new video on Instagram. He said that at first, he wanted to face Mox in a match, but now he has realized that the fight has to be for the idea he believes in.
The 43-year-old then explained that he wants to be a fighting champion and Bryan Danielson went on to challenge Okada for a World Championship match at this Wednesday’s show:

AEW Dynamite 5-Year Anniversary Show
After the formation of the company in January of that year, AEW launched its first weekly show in Dynamite back on October 2, 2019. They have produced a total of 260 episodes of the Wednesday night show since then.
The officials are looking to continue their recent hot streak with another big show in the Anniversary special and they have announced a number of huge matches for the episode.
The promotion previously confirmed that the highly anticipated showdown between Ricochet and International Champion Will Ospreay will happen on the same episodes.
Matches such as Hangman Page vs. Juice Robinson and Britt Baker vs. Serena Deeb have since been added to the card. The addition of the Bryan match is probably the biggest announcement of them all.
The two premiere athletes have met in the ring two times in the past and they have both picked up one victory each. The upcoming rubber match will finally help determine who is the better athlete between the two.
