Cody Rhodes vs Kevin Owens Announced For WWE Bash In Berlin

Cody Rhodes will be defending his Undisputed WWE Championship against a friendly force in Kevin Owens at the upcoming Bash In Berlin special.

The American Nightmare opened the latest episode of WWE SmackDown with a promo. Solo Sikoa interrupted him, asking for a rematch for the title.

When Cody refused, The Bloodline gathered around ringside to attack him but Kevin Owens came out to make the save for his friend.

Rhodes then offered the world title shot to KO. The former Universal Champion initially refused the opportunity, saying that he has not earned the match.

Owens finally agreed to the bout after a backstage segment with Cody and SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis, who was willing to give the match to Roman Reigns if Kevin didn’t want it.

WWE Bash In Berlin Match Card

This is the third match that has been announced for the upcoming WWE event from the Uber Arena in Berlin Germany on August 31.

On Monday’s episode of Raw, it was announced that Randy Orton will get a shot at Gunther’s World Heavyweight Championship because the latter didn’t beat him clean in the King of The Ring finals.

After being kicked out of the Judgement Day, Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley have been wreaking havoc on Raw. They will be taking on ‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio and the Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan in a mixed tag match at the PPV.
