WWE has been aggressively signing stars from the past to new deals in recent months. Just in the last couple of weeks, names such as RVD, Mick Foley, DDP, and Jesse Venture have announced new contracts with the company.
Hornswoggle has remained active in the independent circuit since his WWE departure. He has had two TNA runs between 2016 to 2020 and has also made appearances for ROH and AEW.
Swoggle did not reveal if he’ll be making on-screen appearances for WWE too as part of his new deal. It is not completely out of the question that he’ll be brought in for occasion special shows moving forward.
