Kevin Owens has finally snapped after weeks of teases and the former Universal Champion attacked Cody Rhodes after the Bad Blood PPV this Saturday.
Cody Rhodes teamed up with Roman Reigns at the latest WWE PPV. The duo managed to defeat Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu of The Bloodline in the main event of the show, with some help from a returning Jimmy Uso.
Owens confronted Rhodes in the parking lot while the WWE champion was making his way back after the exhausting match. Fan-made videos show that the two WWE superstars had a long argument about something before KO finally attacked The American Nightmare:

WWE had been teasing Kevin Owens turning heel for a while now. He almost turned on Cody when the two faced off at Bash In Berlin last month but ultimately decided against it.
Tensions between the two grew when Rhodes agreed to team up with Roman Reigns for tonight’s match several weeks ago. Owens who had been beaten up brutally by Roman on multiple occasions was understandably upset with the decision.
Things almost came to a boiling point when Rhodes unintentionally cost Owens and his tag team partner Randy Orton a match against The Bloodline on SmackDown a couple weeks ago. It was only Orton’s influence that stopped the WWE stars from exchanging blows.
It’s unknown what finally led to Owens snapping at his former friend as WWE intentionally used the fans in attendance to spread the word about the attack, rather than putting it on their own social channels. We should find more details about the incident on SmackDown this Friday
