Dwyane ‘The Rock’ Johnson has honored his commitment to attending the Football home opener game for the Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia this week.
On September 4 last month, a school shooting occurred at the Apalachee High School. The shooting resulted in the death of two students and two teachers while nine others were injured. 14-year-old student Colt Gray and his father, Colin Gray, were both arrested over the incident
One of the teachers killed during the shooting was Ricky Aspinwall, who in addition to being a math teacher was also the football coach. The students and faculty had decided to honor the late teacher in their home opener game on October 4. The Hollywood star had promised to be in attendance and he kept his word:
The Rock’s WWE Return
The Rock was last seen on WWE TV during the Raw after WrestleMania 40. He congratulated the new Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes but also warned him that their story was far from over.
The People’s Champion is expected to return to the company for at least two more matches – one against Rhodes and another one against his cousin Roman Reigns.
The Bad Blood PPV this Saturday on October 5 will also be taking place from State Farm Arena in Atlanta Georgia. With Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns teaming up to take on the Bloodline at the show, it’ll be the perfect destination for his return.
