Triple H Confirms Big Change Raw’s Move To Netflix Will Bring

Triple H has confirmed that Raw will not be censored on Netflix.

A big change WWE programming has seen since Triple H’s appointment as the head of creative is the integration of more mature content. Whether it’s Dirty Dom’s storyline with Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan, or The Rock’s profanity-filled promos, the company has certainly been stretching the limits of what is allowed on their shows.

During a recent appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, the WWE executive talked about some of the things they will have to figure out when Raw moves to Netflix next year:

“In the fall, as the shows shift around, and then once we get to Netflix, Netflix is a completely different animal. It’s a streaming service. How are commercials going to work? How are breaks going to work? What’s the length of time? What are the restrictions or not restrictions?”

Triple H also confirmed that the restrictions will be pulled back on Netflix and they will have a lot more Freedom with their content:

“Being on Fox, if the crowd chants ‘holy shit’ or something worse, they take the audio (out). Sometimes, they take the picture and the audio out, and it’s a black screen. The Rock comes in, and you can’t tell what The Rock to do. He does what he does. We won’t have those issues with Netflix.”

WWE announced in January this year that Raw will be moving to Netflix when their current deal with USA Network expires. The 10 years deal is reported to be worth more than $5 billion, and it will give the streaming giant exclusive rights to the show in USA, Canada and a number of other countries.
