WWE’s latest international Pay Per View event called Bash In Berlin comes live from Uber Arena in Berlin, Germany. With a special start time of 1 PM ET, the show is main evented by local star Gunther. Other names featured on the show include CM Punk, Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes. Here are the highlights and full results of the show:
- WWE Undisputed Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Kevin Owens: The two men shake hands before starting the action. KO knows Cody’s offense very well and he is able to counter several of his moves. At one point during the match, Kevin has the opportunity to deliver a pop-up powerbomb to Cody on the ring apron but he decides against it. Rhodes goes to the top towards the end but his injured knee gives up. Owens thinks about attacking him right there but then sends the referee to check on him. Rhodes delivers a couple of Cross Rhodes and Owens counters with a stunner. Owens goes to the top but Rhodes gets his knees up. Cody delivers the third Cross Rhodes for the win. Owens is upset after the match but they shake hands in the end and KO helps Cody to the back.
- WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships: Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn (c) vs. Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair: Cargill and Belair deliver an assisted German Suplex to Dawn. Then Cargill pins her to regain the Women’s Tag titles.
- Strap Match: Drew McIntyre vs. CM Punk: All four corners have lights. A contestant has to touch all four corners one by one without breaking his momentum to win the match. Drew brought out the bracelet with Punk’s wife and dog’s name. He delivers a claymore and touches three corners. Punk is able to counter with Go To Sleep. He delivers another one before touching two corners. Another Go To Sleep is followed by another corner. CM Punk then grabs his bracelet back and wins the match with a final GTS.
- Mixed Tag Match: Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio vs. Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest: JD McDonagh and Carlito appeared at the ringside but got taken out by Priest and Ripley. Finn Balor then comes out of nowhere and delivers a Sling Blade to Damian. Dom follows it up with a 619 but fails to pin Priest. Ripley and Morgan then tag in. McDonagh tries to distract Ripley but Priest takes him out. Dom goes after him but Priest turns him inside out with a clothesline on the top of the announce desk. Morgan looks angrily at Priest who tells her to turn around. Ripley is waiting for her with a headbutt. She finally hits a Rip Tide for the win.
- World Heavyweight Championship Match: Gunther (c) vs. Randy Orton: Orton gets an RKO but Gunther kicks out. Randy takes things outside and sets up the ring steps in front of the German announce desk. Randy sends his opponent crashing into the steel steps before hitting his face on the English announce desk a number of times. He finally sends Gunther through the German announce desk and brings him back into the ring for another RKO. Gunther is able to avoid it and he locks Orton into a sleeper. Randy escapes once but Gunther locks in the submission once again. Orton fades this time and the referee calls for the bell. Both the opponents shake hands after the match.
