WWE presented the September 30, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw from Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana. The Bad Blood go-home show saw CM Punk and Drew McIntyre coming face to face one last time before their Hell In A Cell match. The episode also featured the long-anticipated return of the Monday Night Messiah, Seth Rollins. Here are the full results of the show:
- Jey Uso Promo: Jey makes his first entrance as the new IC champion with a new custom belt. He promises to be a fighting champion and mentions how he has been a twin his whole life. Uso says his mother is his biggest fan and tells his mother that they did it. Bron Breakker comes out and talks about the history of the IC title. He says Jey has earned his respect. He offers a handshake which Jey accepts.
- Singles Match – Xavier Woods def. Rey Mysterio: Rey delivered a hurricanrana and sent Woods crashing into the rope. He goes up for 619 but Woods avoids it. Woods accidentally pulls off Rey’s mask in the struggle and then decides to roll him up for the pin as Mysterio hides his face.
- Backstage segment: Woods runs into Kofi Kingston and explains that pulling Rey’s mask was an accident. Kofi then reveals that Jey Uso offered him an IC title shot but he wants Woods to have it instead.
- Singles Match – Zoey Stark def. Lyra Valkyria: Stark wins the match with Z360. The Pure Fusion Collective looks to beat up Valkyria after the bout but Kayden Carter and Katana Chance make the save.
- Drew McIntyre and CM Punk come face to face: The Hell In A Cell cage is lowered onto the ring and Adam Pearce is waiting with a number of security guards to avoid physicality before the PPV. Both the stars come out and McIntyre speaks first. He says he is wearing black because of what he will do to Punk on Saturday and brings up his wife again. Punk reveals that he has been living in a hotel past 4 month to avoid his wife seeing what he has become. He tells Drew that he’ll be begging for his life when they collide and promises to see McIntyre in hell.
- Backstage segment: The Miz is trying to talk to Braun Strowman about crashing his match with Bronson Reed last week. R Truth interrupts the conversation and Strowman leaves to prepare for his match. Miz tells Truth that they have a match against AOP.
- Tag Team Match – The Judgment Day. def. LWO: Liv Morgan was at ringside to help Judgment Day. Cruz Del Toro and Dragon Lee took out Carlito and Dominik Mysterio with double outside dive. Joaquin Wilde then goes to the top looking to finish off JD McDonagh but Liv Morgan distracts the referee. Balor then pushes Wilde off the top rope. McDonagh takes advantage and delivers The Devil Inside for the win.
- Judgment Day Promo: Finn Balor talks about his match with Damian Priest on Saturday and says he’ll prove that Priest needed the Judgment Day more than they needed Priest. Liv Morgan grabs the mic and talks about defeating Rhea Ripley on Saturday. Ripley comes out and cuts a promo. She talks about Dominik being suspended in a shark cage for their upcoming bout and reveals that Dom is extremely claustrophobic. Damian attacks the group from behind. Ripley joins him and they beat down the group. Rhea tries to shove Dom inside the Shark Cage but he fights it off. The Judgment Day get the upper hand and they beat down the Terror Twins to end the segment.
- Singles Match – Chad Gable def. Kofi Kingston: The American Made and Xavier Woods were all at the ringside for the bout. The Creed Brothers tried to distract Kofi but Woods took them out. Gable won the match in the end with a rolling German Suplex.
- Gunther Promo: Gunther says he is annoyed by Sami Zayn. Zayn comes out and says the simple solution to get rid of him is to give him a world title shot. Sami says Gunther is afraid because of his WrestleMania 40 loss. Gunther reveals that his family was at ringside for Mania and that his dad was not happy with his defeat. Zayn says Gunther crumbled after the IC title loss and mentions how he disappeared from TV for a while after the show because he was humiliated. Gunther attacks Zayn. He catches Zayn in a sleeper and then delivers a powerbomb. Gunther finally gives Sami a match for Bad Blood before leaving.
- Tag Team Match – Authors of Pain def. Awesome Truth: Truth starts the match with Rezar. Miz gets the hot tag but instead of going for the opponents, he levels Truth. Miz storms to the back as AOP delivers What A Rush to R Truth and get the win.
- Last Monster Standing Match – Braun Strowman def. Bronson Reed: Both the stars fight throughout the arena and use all kinds of weapons. The Steel Steps are brought into the ring. Reed sends Strowman crashing through the barricades and some fans also get hurt. Adam Pearce with some security runs up to check on the fans. Reed brings Strowman back into the ring and delivers a Tsunami but the referee is busy outside. Reed dumps some security guards into the ring as Pearce gets into his face. Bronson Reed looks to attack Pearce but the officials swarm him. Strowman then flies off the top and takes everyone out. The two get back into the ring. Bronson Reed delivers a huge superplex to Strowman, and the ring comes unglued. Seth Rollins makes his return and delivers a Curb Stomp to Reed on the steel steps. Referee counts to ten and Braun wins the match.
