AEW presented the October 16, 2024 episodes of Dynamite from SAP Center in San Jose, California. The show follows up from the WrestleDream PPV where Jon Moxley became the new AEW World Heavyweight Champion. Here are the full results of the show:

  • Adam Cole Promo: Cole tells his Undisputed Kingdom teammates that he has to do this alone. He says he would love to talk about his recovery but people want him to talk about MJF. He says if there was one word to describe MJF it would be ‘fake.’ He says the truth is that everyone hates the former world champion. MJF’s music hits but the young star doesn’t appear. He finally shows up at the jumbo tron. He says Cole left a void in him but fans still cheer him on. He says Cole will never meet him inside the ring and die with a void of unfulfilled vengeance. Cole says he will hunt MJF down and give him the beatdown he deserves.
  • Tag Team Match – FTR def. Bryan Keith and Big Bill: We La Faccion Ingobernable is watching the match backstage. FTR lands the Shatter Machine on Bryan Keith for the win. The Outrunners join Dax and Cash in the ring to celebrate after the bout.
  • TBS Championship Match – Mercedes Mone (w/ Kamille) (c) def. Queen Aminata: When Kamille pulls Mone out of harm’s way during a spot, Aminata levels her with a headbutt. Mone takes advantage and gains the upper hand in the match. The champion locks in the Statement Maker on Aminata in the end and she taps out.
  • Six Men Tag Team Match – The Elite vs. The Conglomeration ends in double disqualification: As Orange Cassidy sets up for an Orange Punch on Kazuchika Okada, Wheeler Yuta shows up and levels him with a kick. Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, Moxley, and Marina Shafir join Yuta in the ring. Top Flight and Action Andretti come out to help but Mox and others take them out. Dark Order than comes out but meets the same fate. Mox takes the mic and says anyone who works for AEW is under attack as his teammates continue brutalizing the dark order. They retreat when Daniel Garcia, Private Party, Christopher Daniels, and security run out.
  • Singles Match – Shelton Benjamin def. Lio Rush: Bejamin delivers a couple of intense German release suplexes on Rush. He then delivers a modified powerslam off the mat for the win. MVP grabs the mic after the match and calls out Swerve Strickland. He says what happened to Rush is what will happen to Strickland. He ends the promo saying it’s time to finish the conversation they started at WrestleDream.
  • Don Callis Family Press Conference: The group makes their way to the ring with their newest members Brian Cage and Lance Archer. Callis declares that Archer and Cage will be going after the tag titles and then puts over the new International Champion Konosuke Takeshita. Takeshita cuts a promo about everyone talking about Ospreay rather than him. Callis says his family is stronger than ever.
  • Singles Match – Christian Cage def. Jay White: Nick Wayne looks to hand Christian a chair but Juice Robinson and Colten Gunn take it from him. The referee sees Robinson with the chair and ejects him and Colton. Gunn attacks Nick from behind as he is going back and drags him up. Mother Wayne follows behind his son. The two men wrestle without distraction for a while before Adam Page and Kip Sabian show up. Sabian distracts the referee while Page delivers a Buckshot Lariat to White. This allows Cage to get the win.
