Braun Strowman has provided an update on his injury and confirmed that he won’t be missing the upcoming Crown Jewel PPV.
The Monster Among Men was last seen during the September 30, 2024 episode of Raw. He defeated Bronson Reed in a Last Monster Standing Match in the main event of the show. It was reported afterward that Strowman had suffered a groin injury in the bout.
The former Universal Champion provided an update on his health during a recent interview with The Schmo. He explained that the injury is unfortunate but said that it’s part of the business. He also confirmed that he will be flying to Saudi Arabia for the November 2 PLE:
“I’ve been off the last couple weeks. I’m rehabbing, got to head back here in a second and fly back to Orlando to our facility. Get some more rehab this week and then next week, we’re in Hershey, PA. And then we head over to Saudi Arabia for a big one [Crown Jewel].”
Braun Strowman had been involved in a long rivalry with Bronson Reed before his injury. The two stars gave fans some crazy viral moments during their encounters in the last couple of months.
Before getting involved with Strowman, Reed had taken Seth Rollins out of action with a vicious attack during the August 5 Raw. Rollins who had been off TV since then returned to the company on September 30 and he helped Braun win the match against Reed.
WWE has since announced a match between Rollins and Reed for the Crown Jewel special. It’s likely that we’ll see Braun Strowman getting involved in this bout upon his return to WWE programming.
