Toni Storm’s CMLL debut has been postponed due to the ripple effect of Hurricane Milton.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion was scheduled to make her in-ring debut for the Mexican promotion this Friday October 11. She was booked for a match against La Catalina for the event in Arena Mexico.
The wrestling promotion announced on Twitter earlier today, however, that Storm is unable to make the show because of flight cancellations in the wake of Hurricane Milton. They confirmed that the match has not been cancelled and a new date for this showdown will be announced in the coming times:

Hurricane Milton made landfall in Florida this past Wednesday night. Over 3.2 million homes and businesses were without power due to the storm and more than 2,270 flights have been canceled throughout the state because of bad weather.
Toni Storm has not been seen on AEW programming since the All In PPV on August 25. She put her Women’s World Title on the line against former protege Mariah May at the event. Storm unfortunately lost the bout.
The female star has been using her time away from the US-based promotion to make her presence felt on the international stage. She had been on a trip to Japan the last few weeks, where she wrestled multiple matches for AEW’s partner promotion Stardom.
La Catalina was chosen to face Toni Storm in her next international stop, after the Mexican star’s impressive performance in the CMLL Universal Amazonas Championship tournament last year.
