WWE presented the October 7, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw from St. Louis, Missouri. The show reverted back to 2 hours from this week for the final three months of 2024 on USA Network. The episode was headlined by Gunther defending the World Championship against Sami Zayn. Here are the full results and highlights:
- CM Punk Promo: Punk says he is hurt after his Hell In A Cell match at Bad Blood and despite winning, he doesn’t feel like a winner. Punk says he’ll finally be going back to his wife after ending his feud with McIntyre and indicates that he’ll be taking some time off. Seth Rollins makes his entrance as Punk’s going back and the two come face to face for a second before Rollins heads to the ring.
- Seth Rollins Promo: Rollins first addresses Punk and tells him to get well soon. Seth hopes Punk will be back soon so he can beat him up. The Architect then addresses Bronson Reed, mentioning how Reed took him out a few weeks ago. He says he’ll give Reed the 15 minutes of fame he wants and challenges him to a match at any place and time of his choosing. Jey Uso makes his entrance for the IC title match and comes face to face with Rollins in the ring before Seth leaves.
- Intercontinental Championship Match – Jey Uso (c) def. Xavier Woods: Woods goes on top but Jey intercepts with a superkick. He delivers a Uso Splash for the win. Jey hugs Kofi after the match and offers his hand to Woods. Xavier decides not to shake it however and starts making his back. Bron Breakker appears in the ring and spears Jey Uso. Kofi fails to convince Woods to save Jey. He then goes to make the save himself but eats a spear from Breakker. Bron comes out and delivers a spear to Woods too before giving another one to Jey inside the ring. He holds the IC title to end the segment.
- Good Ol’ Fashion Donnybrook Match – Sheamus def. Pete Dunne: A physical match between the two sees them using weapons such as a shillelagh. Sheamus takes an insane bump when he delivers a White Noise to Dunne from the top of some barrels into a couple of tables on the outside. In the end, Sheamus wins with a couple of Brogue Kicks.
- 10 Women Tag Team Match – Kayden Carter, Katana Chance, Natalya, Lyra Valkyria, and Zelina Vega def. Pure Fusion Collective & The Unholy Union: Valkyria wins the match for her team after taking down Sonya Deville with a kick.
- World Heavyweight Championship Match – Gunther def. Sami Zayn: After a physical match, Gunther delivers a huge powerbomb but Sami kicks out at one. The Ring General then locks Zayn into a sleeper hold. The referee calls for the bell as Sami fades away. Cody Rhodes’ music hits after the match and he stares down Gunther ahead of their Crown Jewel match.
